Biography
Dr. Julie Drew, Professor of English, teaches creative writing, popular culture, and literature courses at all levels. Her published fiction is primarily Young Adult science fiction/fantasy, and has been reviewed in Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, Providence Journal, and Historical Novels Review, among others. She is co-author/producer of the Middle Grade podcast Akron Adventures. Her essays and articles have appeared in multiple university press collections and scholarly journals; Boston Globe and Cleveland Plain-Dealer; and HuffPost.com. Drew is currently working on a Young Adult fantasy series set in Ohio and Massachusetts.
