  • Nov. 4 - Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by
  • Nov. 5 - Absentee ballots can be returned by hand to your Board of Elections until 7:30 p.m.

    White House Correspondent Steve Herman

    Steven L. Herman is the national correspondent for the Voice of America and author of "Behind the White House Curtain."  In his book recently published in on June 4, 2024, Herman argues that public access to accurate, unbiased information is essential to a healthy and peaceful democracy.  He will share his experiences and insights on the crucial role journalists play in holding government officials accountable, a perspective honed during his career covering significant events, including nuclear testing in Nevada and the tumultuous years of the Trump administration.
